What does it take to have a healthy level of engagement in an organization?.Why don’t we look at how we can do it differently and be the first ones to make it work?.If you get the job, what are the first things you are going to change around here, and why?.Why risk wasting any of your limited time on this earth doing stuff that doesn’t light your fire?.People who have the courage to spend their time working on things they love are usually the ones enjoying life the most.A challenge not shared is often a missed opportunity.A lot of people have gone further than they thought they could because someone else thought they could.You are either 100% behind the quest for excellence 100% of the time, or you aren’t really a player.With a little thought, everything in life can always be improved.If you care passionately enough, you can take any facet of the human experience and improve on it.It is terribly sad that so many people are not the least bit passionate about what they are doing with their lives.A boss that works 12 hour days is usually a sign that the boss is not managing their time well.Your title says nothing about the level of respect you deserve.I am sorry this letter is so long, I didn’t have time to make it shorter.The art of distilling one’s thoughts into as few words as possible is something that takes practice and time.Great leaders are almost always great simplifiers.Listening is one of the most important skills for any teacher, parent, leader, or anyone with a pulse.Why not move heaven and earth to enjoy them now? These are the good old days you will be thinking back on 20 years from now.If you don’t enjoy what you are doing, and the people with whom you are doing it, there is no possible way that you are ever going to do it as well as something that you do enjoy.I especially recommend reading if you are looking for advice on these topics.
